Antal Doráti (1906-1998)

Antal Doráti was born in Budapest, where his father was a violinist with the Budapest Philharmonic Orchestra and his mother a piano teacher. He made his first recordings with the London Philharmonic Orchestra for His Master's Voice in 1936.
