COMS was established in 1921 and still operates today as Oxford Bus. These late 1960s and mid 1970s photos show the unique livery worn by COMS buses.

Oxford was one of the first cities in Britain to introduce park and ride to take cars away from the city centre. COMS operated this ex-Midland Red Alexander bodied Fleetline in a distinctive blue livery on the Pear Tree service (1979) (1969)
