Blue Bus Service (Tailby and George Ltd)


Blue Bus Serivce was based in Willington between Derby and Burton. It was home to a fine fleet of Willowbrook bodies Damilers. The business was sold 1974 to Derby Corporation and finally ceased operating when the garage was destroyed by fire in 1975.

Three CD650s a rare model if ever there was. PRA388 went into preservation, but the body's ash frame was rotten and it was eventually scrapped and the mechanical parts sold to other preservationists. (March 1970)
