The Dukedog returned to steam on 8th October 2003. Here are photos taken the following day when the loco works staff were running 9017 in by travelling within the confines of Sheffield Park due to trackworks taking place North of the station. It has been outshopped in the final GW livery. Final detail such as the number on the buffer beam were yet to be added.
